Edge Sponsors Shope with a Cop with the Tomball Police Department

Robert Pinard and Carlos Araujo of Edge were proud sponsors of the Shop with a Cop program again this year!  Saturday, Dec. 21^, 2019 was an amazing day of fun and festivities!  For over 20 years, the Tomball Police Department, together with Tomball Wal-Mart and Tomball ISD, take 20-25 economically disadvantaged children from the community out for a day of Christmas shopping!  Each child is paired up with one of our finest Tomball police officers and given $250 to fill their basket in the Tomball Wal-Mart. They are also provided breakfast from Chick-fil-A.  Most of the children fill their baskets with gits for others – like slow-cookers for their mom, electronics for their dad and toys for their siblings.  Many of the children live with someone other than their parents or are separated from family members and most of them have siblings. Over the years, almost $70,000 has helped approximately 360 families, providing a positive impact and forming lasting friendships.
